I can't believe the archive will be going live in twenty-four hours! And the TRAGIC thing is that I probably won't be able to look at it for ANOTHER twenty-four hours, due to Christmas stuff! I wanted to put a note up here in case my Yuletide writer stops by to let them know that there's a good chance that the earliest I'll be able to read my Yuletide story is Saturday night, and it might be late Saturday night (I'm on the east coast of the US, as an FYI). Just didn't want any stress over me not responding right away! I already know that I will love it!

In other news, my holiday experiment of leaving my gifts and my wrapping supplies next to each other in the office undisturbed for weeks did not, in the end, produce the desired result of the gifts wrapping themselves. It did produce the predictable result of me loathing my past self for spending my free time in December lying on the couch watching terrible Hallmark Channel Christmas movies instead.

In yet OTHER news, I continue to obsess over my Yuletide story. I'm in the zone where I'm doubting every choice I made when writing the story. I feel like this happens every year, and every year I'm all, but NO. THIS TIME I MEAN IT. And this time I DO mean it.

My mom's gifts are wrapped (except for a CD Santa's bringing her), but no one else's. Guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow!

I hope your wrapping went better than mine did - the last few gifts I wrapped looked like my cats had done it, and my apartment still looks like a Wrapping Paper Bomb went off in it!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas!

UGH YES I will likely not be able to get online reliably until Saturday evening.

On the bright side, traffic should be down by then.

Am just diving into the archive now - it seems to be working pretty well for me, maybe the strategy of being away from a computer till late on Christmas is a good one!

Good to see you around the ol' LJ hearth! You may have inspired me to type up a post, too. Merry Christmas!
